Harry J. Bigham, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Bigham received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency training in internal medicine at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Bigham is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. He has special interest in interventional cardiology.
Virginia C. Colliver, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Colliver received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Colliver is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. Her special interests include heart disease in women, preventive cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
Tony N. Dao, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Dao received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship program in cardiovascular disease at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Dao is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His special interests include clinical cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure, and nuclear cardiology.
Yuri A. Deychak, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Deychak received his medical degree from The Ohio State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and served as a US Navy Diving and Submarine Medical Officer. Subsequently he completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in clinical and invasive cardiology at The George Washington University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Deychak is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. His special interests include interventional cardiology, and therapy for acute myocardial infarction.
Samuel D. Goldberg, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at University Hospitals of Cleveland and Georgetown University Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at The George Washington University Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He has special interests in cardiac risk factors and non-invasive cardiology. Dr. Goldberg currently sits on the board of the Maryland Chapter of American College of Cardiology and the Medical Advisory Board at the Hebrew Home.
Frank N. Gravino, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Gravino received his Bachelor of Arts and medical degree from Boston University in their accelerated six-year medical program. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Boston City Hospital. Dr. Gravino did a year of cardiovascular research at Boston University Medical School before completing his cardiology fellowship at University of California, the Center for the Health Sciences.
Dr. Gravino is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. Special interests include valvular heart disease and nuclear cardiology.
Edward Healy, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Healy received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at New England Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Healy is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He has special interests in cardiac electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.
Samuel Itscoitz, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Itscoitz attended Harvard College and received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. His internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship were done at The Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts (now Brigham and Womens Hospital) and the cardiology branch of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Itscoitz’s special interests include preventive cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertension and congestive heart failure.
Aaron E. Kenigsberg, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Kenigsberg received his undergraduate education at Stanford University, and his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. Dr. Kenigsberg’s cardiology fellowship training was at the New England Deaconess/ Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kenigsberg is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Kenigsberg is the current Cath Lab Director at Holy Cross Hospital and Chief of Cardiology Section at Washington Adventist Hospital.
Julie B. Krivy, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Krivy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received her medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and her Cardiology fellowship at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center.
Dr. Krivy is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. She has special interest in cardiac disease in women, non-invasive Cardiology including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiography.
Greg Kumkumian, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Kumkumian graduated from the George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and Classical Studies and Graduate degrees in Genetics and Physiology. He was awarded his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. He served his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Kumkumian received his fellowship training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Kumkumian is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Kumkumian joins the practice with special interests in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular interventions.
Mark R. Milner, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P., F.A.S.E.
Dr. Milner received his medical degree as an Alumni Scholar at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cornell University Medical Center followed by a cardiology fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He pursued an academic career, with over 60 publications, as Associate Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology at the Washington Hospital Center. He has had appointments as clinical assistant professor of Medicine at both George Washington University and Georgetown University. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and echocardiography. His interests include echocardiography and nuclear medicine. He is a physician representative for Automated External Defibrillators for the State of Maryland (MIEMSS).
Alan I. Schneider, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Schneider received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine and was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore. He then completed fellowships in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Schneider is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. His special interest is the surgical and medical management of cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Schneider is Chief of Cardiology at Holy Cross Hospital.
Daniel J. Schwartz, M.D., F.A.C.C., R.P.V.I.
Dr. Schwartz received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where he also served as Assistant Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship program in cardiovascular disease at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Schwartz is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Vascular Imaging. Among his special interests are cardiovascular imaging including transesophageal echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, ischemic heart disease, and congestive heart failure.
Herman B. Segal, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Segal, a native of Portland, Maine, received his undergraduate education at Bowdoin College and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. After completing internal medicine training at Kings County Hospital/Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and at the Boston VA Hospital, he undertook a three-year Cardiology fellowship at the Harvard affiliated hospitals – The West Roxbury VA Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (formerly Peter Bent Brigham).
Prior to entering private practice in Silver Spring in 1981, Dr. Segal was Assistant Chief of Medicine, Acting Chief of Medicine, and staff cardiologist at the Washington VA Medical Center where he was also on the faculty of Georgetown University Medical School.
Dr. Segal is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and practices Clinical Cardiology with a special interest in coronary and valvular heart disease.
Thomas G. Sinderson, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Sinderson received his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency at D.C. General Hospital and The George Washington University Hospital. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at The George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Sinderson is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His special interests include preventive cardiology and congestive heart failure.
Roger Stevenson, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Stevenson received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School and completed his residency at D.C. General Hospital/Georgetown Medical Division. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at The George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Stevenson is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His special interests include nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
Judith A. Potter, M.S.N., C.R.N.P.
Ms. Potter received her R. N. certification through the Washington Hospital Center School of Nursing, and completed her B.S.N. and M.S.N. degrees at George Mason University. Ms. Potter’s areas of special interest include lipid management, risk factor modification and prevention, and pacemakers, defibrillators, and device management.
